Colleen Egan
Title: Development Director
Childhood Dream: Ms. Egan has more than 15 years of executive level business, operational and strategic leadership across several industries including entertainment, new media, travel, healthcare and the arts.
As the Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Egan is responsible for managing and monitoring the day-to-day activities of Akoo International Inc. She is responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver Akoo products and services.
Prior to joining Akoo, Ms. Egan served as the SVP of Operations and Production for Zula USA LLC, the Los Angeles based entertainment & educational production company, which produces the critically acclaimed PBS children’s series “The Zula Patrol”. She was also a Founder & COO, CFO for the award-winning, Chicago based design and technology company, twohundredtwelve° llc, whose client list included Orbitz, Nike, SamsClub and McDonalds. Prior to this Colleen served multiple roles at the top 100 interactive agency Leapnet / Quantum Leap in Chicago, including Director of Operations, Producer and Writer for clients including American Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airlines and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
She earned her B.S. In Nursing from Lewis University and is actively involved in Chicago’s business, marketing and arts communities. She has served on numerous advisory boards and has held numerous mayoral appointments.
